No. Tried to call NSC a few times and got diffferent stories on why my fp notice is being dealyed. I gave up trying after my last call 2 weeks ago wherein an IO told me to wait until middle of May.

All checks cashed including PP for I-140 ON 2nd June 2007.
I have a couple of questions:-
How long before i get a answer on Premium Processing on I-140.
How long for Finger Printing notice.
How long before i get EAD.
Can i renew my CA drivers license with I-1485 filing receipt or do i have to wait for EAD.
Thanks folks and hang in there.( It took 6 years for LC approval).
Usually it is a maximum of 2 weeks. NSC approved some in 2 days.
FP notice in a month or so..
EAD 90 days minimum I guess. I don't know about the other one as I live in MI. we do not need anything like that here.

On aug 9 th, USCIS nebraska center issued a total of 4063 receipt nos for 485, EAD, and APs.

From this, if we assume ~4000/day, it ll take 20 working days to clear july 2nd filers (~80,000). My guess is by 31st Aug.

Today message changed to ( the dates shows yesterday)
Current Status: Card production ordered.
On August 7, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

Two SLUDs on just primary applicant 485...Gurus can guess what can be expected?
8/10 - Opened SR and no response to that yet
8/31 - This morning (9/1) saw a SLUD dated 8/31 which wasn't there until 10EST yesterday.
9/1 - Again another SLUD dated 9/1 this afternoon.

Hi Mehul, i'm really sorry to hear your situation. I was researching some stuff & since you are from Fiji & with the political unrest in your home country, can you take political asylum since you were kinda forced to leave the country. These legal employment-based immigration bills are similar to the Education bill named PACE Act which is still pending in the Senate.
* Senator Cornyn strongly opposes the legalization of undocumented immigrants as opposed to the Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist and most of the Senators in the Senate Judiciary Committee. The compromised comprehensive immigration reform proposal faced strong challenge from Senator Cornyn before the bill collapsed in the Senate during the Easter break. Cornyn-Kyl bill and McCain-Kennedy has engaged in a fierce duel in the Senate Judiciary Committee and in the full Senate. The collision was marked by the legalization of illegal immigrants that are incorporated in the McCain-Kennedy bill.
* By introduction of S. 2691, Senator Cornyn practically joins the original Bill Frist bill that strongly supported legal immigration and strongly opposed legalization of illegal aliens by focusing on the border security and the immigration enforcement. Hi mnq1979,
The application was filed with CSC as all nos., which I have seen, are WAC nos. EAD was issued from CSC on (and I am guessing here) 18th, left from KY (40701) on 20th Sept (according to post mark) and reached my house on the 22nd Sept. If it was India and if the post man had delivered this to me, I would definitely have given him something for "mithaai" :D
It was only 3 days ago I had got the transfer notice from CSC saying that they had move our cases to TX.
I got the cards directly as my lawyer had not sent me the application no. yet. There were no notices for EADs.
More than me, my wife is happy that she wouldn't have to sit around feeling like a "dependent" ;).
I belive my situation is the same as urs....i received mine and my wife I-485 receipts in mail but nothing related to EAD. My case is also transferred to TSC from California on Sep. 17 as my I140 is approved from TSC.
I want to ask u that how long did it take u to get ur EAD card after u received ur I485 receipt and from where ur EAD was issued, is it from CSC or TSC.
Did u received any receipt of EAD or u jst got the EAD directly.

Wanted to know what the members here think of the probability of receiving RFE from USCIS to find out whether the applicant is still in a "same or similar" job when the time comes to adjudicate cases for for EB3 India.
I ask this because in a poll conducted in a separate thread, it seems the number of people waiting for their GCs are more with PDs before Dec 2004 than after that date.
When the dates become current again for these people, do you think USCIS will be sending RFEs to get the employment information for every single of them ? Is there is a percentage from the pending applications that they pick for RFE, assuming all applicants who changed employers DID NOT notify USCIS when they changed jobs OR is it completely up to the whims of the adjudicating officer to send an RFE ?

Once you have created a "portfolio" with the SRC/EAD numbers... there will be atable with LUD dates. Soft LUD is just a LUD without any change in status message. Hard LUD is when there is an actual update in status.
